Dog walking after knee replacement

In this video I present a hurdle encountered in the recovery process from a total knee arthroplasty/replacement (TKA) procedure. The patient has a big dog at home and is concerned about their ability to safely take them on walks without hurting themselves.

In the video I discuss how I plan to prepare the patient for this activity, by systematically and progressively loading her knee in a dynamic fashion.
