This is a huge step towards getting better access to physical therapy in the state of Illinois! However, we still need your help to get it passed through the Senate:
This important legislation will provide better and faster access to physical therapists for all populations (Medicare included). This means major cost savings to patients with decreased utilization of unnecessary office visits and imaging. And it will be a major help in the fight against opioid abuse in Illinois, as physical therapy is a non-prescription, non- addictive way to reduce pain.
